A.) The Department will allow 3.5 ounces or equivalent per monthly cannabis transaction limit.
Q.) Can the dispensary facility deliver products to my home?
A.) Beginning on 7/1/2021, a dispensary may deliver medical marijuana to a patient using their own employees until 30 days after the first 5 delivery services have commenced public operation.
Q.) Does the law require health insurances to cover medical marijuana?
A.) No. The law explicitly says it does not.
Q.) Can a landlord refuse to rent to someone or take action against a tenant solely because the tenant is qualified to use medical marijuana?
A.) No
Q.) Can a school refuse to enroll someone solely because the person is qualified to use medical marijuana?
A.) No
Q.) Can an employer decide not to hire someone or decide to fire, or otherwise penalize or threaten that person, solely because the person is qualified to use medical marijuana?
A.) No. An employer may prohibit the use of intoxicating substances during work hours or discipline an employee for being intoxicated while at work.
